Cosmetics Company Proposes Warehouse In Doral

An affiliate of Turkish cosmetics company Farmasi has proposed a second warehouse in Doral, although this one would be rented to third parties.

The City Council will hold a zoning hearing Aug. 24 to consider plans for the 2.31-acre site at 10405 N.W. 19th St. ForTuna Real Estate LLC, managed by Emre Tuna of Farmasi, bought the vacant property for $3.65 million in 2021.

The developer proposed a 40,141-square-foot industrial building, with 36,758 square feet of warehouse space, 3,383 square feet of offices and 36 parking spaces. It would rise 42 feet, leaving plenty of interior volume for stacking goods.

Carlos Diaz Architecture in Miami designed the project.

In 2020, Farmasi acquired the 3.72-acre property at 10751 N.W. 25th St. in Doral and announced plans to build its North American headquarters and distribution facility there. Ercan said those plans remain on track, and that building should total 80,000 square feet.
